OUR ROOMS

At Castle House, you’ll find the finest boutique hotel rooms in Hereford, and what sets them apart is their individuality.

All 24 rooms and suites have an unique style, each one is individually named after local castles or historical figures. They all have those little touches which will make your stay memorable such as a decanter of Sherry, a lovely basket of Herefordshire treats, coffee and tea-making facility with fresh milk in the room's fridge and L'Occitane's essential oils product in the bathrooms. And, of course, full English Breakfast is included.

Main House These rooms overlook the hotel's garden and old Hereford Castle Moat, or quiet Castle Street, with its fine Georgian buildings, that leads to the Cathedral. In the Main House we have single rooms, spacious doubles and suites over two floors and a lift. One of our spacious suites, The Cavalier Suite, is on the ground floor and has been specially adapted for those who have accessibility requirements.  It has its own ramped entrance, walk-in shower, wide doorways and access to the hotel's garden.

Our Townhouse, Number 25 Less than a minute’s walk from the main hotel, we have 8 beautiful bedrooms and suites from small doubles to a spacious penthouse family room and two Townhouse Suites with access to the garden. Number 25 is ideal for guests wanting extra privacy and independence, who are staying with us for an extended period, perhaps on business, or for families wanting accommodation close to each other. We ask our guests to note that unlike the Main House, Number 25 does not have a lift.

Dogs We have a small number of garden guestrooms where we can accommodate up to two well-behaved dogs per room for an additional cost of £20 per dog, per night. 

We have a few House Rules.  Most importantly, dogs must never be left unattended in the guestroom. They are welcome in the garden and the Waterside Restaurant & Bar only.  We ask that they are kept on a lead at all times. We can provide pet towels, bowls and biscuits if required.

To make a booking with your dog, please contact our reception directly to ensure there is availability for your requested dates.   

We accept registered Guide Dogs throughout the hotel.
