Castle
House opens directly out onto its own private garden,
styled to reflect the feel of this fine Georgian
townhouse. Its formal borders, contemporary plantings
and all year round colour makes this garden the
perfect foil to Castle House. A walk along the waterside
terrace brings you down to the old castle moat,
which once protected Hereford Castle.

Hereford Castle, one of the fairest, largest
and strongest in England was regularly visited
by royalty until the thirteenth century conquest
of Wales. After that it fell into ruins. Now a monument
to Lord Nelson stands in its place.
Guests may take afternoon tea or pre-dinner drinks
on the patio in the afternoon sunshine or just enjoy
strolling along the moat-edge watching the swans
and ducks.
Why not enjoy a light lunch on the terrace? |
