'Stayed for 3 nights in the King Charles II Suite - marvellous huge suite overlooking front of the hotel with partial views of the cathedral. Large comfortable bed and plenty of seats and room to hold a party in. Fridge, safe, coffee/tea fresh milk too! Etc all provided - and a small decanter of sherry replenished each day was an excellent touch. Beds turned down each night and curtains drawn when you go for dinner.
Breakfast is cooked to order and the dinners are wonderful and great value as well (Hereford beef is exquisite). The staff at all levels are welcoming, professional and local - a rare treat.' Guest via Trip Advisor, October 2011
